Umeka Ganjoo

Umeka Ganjoo is the program coordinator for the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement. In this role, Ganjoo supports the office with all aspects of program monitoring, evaluation and reporting, engagement and follow-on activities. She leads and provides support for specific programming components, such as student placements, volunteer recruitment, workshop and conference planning, social media engagement, survey analysis, office activities and report writing. Ganjoo also engages with multiple external programs and internal partners through project management, grants development and grants management. Additionally, Ganjoo oversees the program coordination for the SHRS Wellness Pavilion where she supports the development and operations of programs and services, the promotion and evaluation of services and space along with student engagement. 

Ganjoo has received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently pursuing her master's degree in health administration from the Pitt Graduate School of Public Health.
